Terms & Conditions
Inclusions & Booking Fee
β’ All makeup applications include a single set of false lashes.
β’ All bridal makeup bookings include a touch-up kit for the wedding day.
β’ A non-refundable and non-transferable retainer of 50% of the total booking amount per person is required to secure your booking.
β’ This amount will be deducted from your total service cost.
β’ Retainer is forfeited for cancellations or reschedules initiated by the client.
β’ If Sumaira is unable to attend, you will be notified in advance and your retainer will be refunded in full.
Booking & Payment
β’ Retainer is payable via PayID β screenshot proof must be sent at the time of booking.
β’ Remaining balance is due 5 days prior to your event.
β’ Once paid via PayID, send a screenshot as proof of payment.
β’ Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and proof has been provided.
β’ Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation without refund of the retainer.
Late Arrival Policy
β’ Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
β’ 20-minute grace period is allowed.
β’ Arrivals later than 20 minutes will be considered a no-show and will be cancelled without refund.
β’ Arriving late but within the grace period may result in reduced service time.
β’ All payments remain non-refundable in these cases.
Operating Hours
β’ Regular hours: 6:00 AM β 5:00 PM.
β’ Services outside these hours incur an additional $50 per person fee.
Service Duration
β’ Bridal Makeup β 2 hours
β’ Bridesmaids / MOB / MOG / Event Glam β 1 hour each
β’ Bridal Hairstyles β 2 hours
β’ Bridesmaids / MOB / MOG / Event Hairstyles β 1 hour each
Travel Fees
β’ Complimentary travel within 20 km from Doreen.
β’ Beyond 20 km:
– 21β30 km: $75 for 1 hour travel
– Over 1 hour: $2 per km in addition to the base fee
β’ Parking fees and tolls will be added to your total if applicable.
Additional Fees
β’ Parking fees apply if paid parking is required at your location.
β’ Toll charges will be added if applicable.
Photos and Social Media
β’ Photos may be taken before and after your makeup application for marketing on Dolled Up by Sumairaβs platforms.
β’ By attending, you consent unless you advise in writing beforehand.
Health & Hygiene
β’ Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
β’ All tools are cleaned and sanitised between clients.
Client Cancellations & Illness
Client cancellation and illness policy
If you or anyone in your group is unwell or has recently been in close contact with someone who is unwell, your appointment must be rescheduled or cancelled.
If you appear unwell at your appointment, Sumaira may cancel the service, and full payment will be required for the time allocated.
Allergies & Skin Condition
Please notify Sumaira before your booking if you have any allergies, sensitivities, or existing skin conditions.
* Contagious Conditions
Any contagious illnesses or infections β including conjunctivitis, cold sores, or similar skin concerns β must be disclosed before your appointment.
Makeup applications cannot be performed while any contagious condition is present due to the risk of infection being passed on to other clients.
* Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant conditions or sensitivities. Sumaira will not be held liable for reactions that may occur due to undisclosed issues.
Refusal of Service
β’ Service may be refused if you have infectious conditions or display abusive/threatening behaviour.
β’ No refunds will be issued in these cases.
Change of Booking Details
β’ Changes to time, location, or services must be communicated in advance.
β’ Extra services on the day are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Final Touch-Ups
β’ Once makeup is completed and approved, Dolled Up by Sumaira is not responsible for changes caused by weather, tears, eating/drinking, or natural skin behaviour.
Bridal Trial Disclaimer
β’ While every effort will be made to replicate your trial look, results may vary slightly on the wedding day due to skin, lighting, or environmental factors.
Force Majeure
β’ Dolled Up by Sumaira is not liable for cancellations or interruptions due to events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions).
β’ In such cases, appointments will be rescheduled but no refunds will be issued.
